2021 Community Growers Grant Program

The New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets are now accepting proposals for projects of up to $50,000 for their 2021 Community Growers Grant Program. For this round of funding, they are accepting qualifying proposals on a rolling basis until funding is expended. They recommend applying in May (the earlier the better), but note applications should be received no later than July 1 for consideration this year. 

 

Program overview, proposal format & budget template are available to download at the links below.

  • Please use these documents as templates for your proposals, and rename the documents to replace "AGM" with your org's name when submitting
  • For this 2021 grant round, projects should aim to be completed by September 30, 2021

Note all awarded organizations will need to be registered and prequalified in the Grants Gateway. If you are not already/ currently in "pre-qualified" status, please update your profile documents prior to submitting a proposal.
