GreenThumb GrowTogether 2021 Workshop Proposals

Help us create an unforgettable virtual GreenThumb GrowTogether Conference!

We're inviting a wide range of workshop/webinar proposals about community gardening, seeds, composting, biodiversity, ecology, resilience, food and racial justice, herbalism, group development, community organizing, native plants, climate change, intergenerational gardening, garden/crop/movement histories, and more. We're grateful for your offer to share your knowledge at our 37th annual conference, in an ongoing tradition of uplifting and celebrating community gardening in NYC since 1984. While this year will be a little different, we're looking forward to sharing virtual space to reconnect and learn together.

Please share your ideas using this form no later than Wednesday, December 9, 5:00 p.m.

Due to budget constraints during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are sadly unable to provide workshop materials or t-shirts this year.

CONFERENCE DATES: Saturday, February 20, 2021 through Saturday, February 27, 2021
LOCATION: Virtual
FORMATS: We're open to pre-recorded or live presentations, offered remotely or filmed outside in a garden. We'll do our best to work with you to bring a wide range of virtual programming to conference attendees.

If you have any questions, please contact our Workshops Coordinator, Mara Gittleman, by email at mara.gittleman [at] parks.nyc.gov or cell phone at (646) 398-2651.
