The Mayor’s Office of ThriveNYC promotes mental health for all New Yorkers. In partnership with 12 city agencies and nearly 200 non-profits, ThriveNYC’s programs reach people with the highest need – those with serious mental illness, those affected by trauma, and those living in historically under-served neighborhoods.
The mission of the NYC Department for the Aging is to eliminate ageism and ensure the dignity and quality of life of diverse older adults. They partner with hundreds of community-based organizations to provide services through senior centers, naturally occurring retirement communities, case-management and home-care agencies, home-delivered meal programs, mental health and friendly visiting programs, and much more in each borough.
