Learn to nourish urban soils combining traditional indigenous soil management practices with modern agricultural technology. Participants will measure their soil's microbial biomass and compare to other soils. It will be an evening filled with fun ethnoscience facts, methods, conversations, and discussion on urban soils, regenerative agriculture, and food systems.
Bring 100 grams/half a cup of your own soil to test for microbial biomass. ASL interpreter available upon request; please contact firstname.lastname@example.org at least 2 weeks prior to the class date.
