Learn the ins and outs of connecting a garden hose to your fire hydrant, including which permits you will need and how to get them. Practice using a hydrant wrench and attaching a reduced pressure zone backflow preventer (RPZ) between the hose and the hydrant.
Members of registered community gardens in good standing that bring a copy of their hydrant permit for 2019 may be eligible to receive a hydrant wrench at this workshop (one per garden).
